2020, Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts 1er Cru, 90-93

A new wine in 2020. Mid yellow. A certain weight of fruit, relatively ripe, from this lower slope, clay rich vineyard. Extra intensity on the palate, a little bit of power, almost heat, from this soil. Stocky stuff with weight at the back. Tasted: October 2021 -Jasper Morris
